Dr. Jenette Smith Endowed Scholarship
奖项的目的
Dr. Jenette Smith joined PG电子APP as an instructor in the Doctor of 健康care 教育 and 领导 (Ed.D.(2021年)计划. She holds a Doctor in 健康care 教育 and 领导 degree from PG电子APP, a certified Diplomate in Lifestyle Medicine (DipACLM) from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and a Master of Science degree in 健康 教育/Studies in Aging from the University of North Texas.
Dr. Smith’s career in health care education includes serving in teaching and leadership positions in higher education, inclusive higher education, and nonprofit organizations serving individuals with disabilities, 阿尔茨海默病, 中风, 老年人. Dr. Smith has devoted over 30 years to serving as an educator, 盟友, and advocate for individuals with disabilities, 他们的家庭, 以及他们的看护人. Through this endowed scholarship, the College will provide at least one scholarship annu盟友 to a student(s) selected by our Scholarship Committee, who meet the criteria outlined in this agreement.
Selection Criteria (Academic Year 2022-2023)
To be considered for the Dr. Jenette Smith Endowed Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Enrolled in the 健康care 教育 & 领导 doctoral program
- Exhibited solid past academic achievement
